Penny’s journey hasn’t been an easy one, but it has shaped her into the graceful, loving girl she is today. Rescued on November 14th, 2022, after being dumped by the roadside at just 2 months old, Penny has grown into a stunning young lady with a sleek, shiny black coat that glistens in the sunlight. With her soft features and slightly feathery ears, she even carries a resemblance to a Cocker Spaniel, which only adds to her charm and elegance.

Penny is calm, composed, and carries herself with a quiet grace that matches her nickname “Kalu Hami.” She enjoys her independence but is also deeply affectionate—she adores being held and will happily lean into you, soaking up every bit of comfort and attention. At the shelter, Penny can often be found patiently waiting by the gate for her turn to explore the garden with volunteers, where she comes alive with tail wags and soft eyes full of gratitude.

She gets along well with both people and other dogs, making her an easy fit for many different types of families. Penny isn’t overly demanding; she simply wishes for a safe, loving home where she can finally belong.

Though Penny was once adopted, she was sadly returned after just one day. Despite this, she hasn’t lost her trusting nature. She’s still waiting for that special someone who will recognize the loyal, devoted friend she’s meant to be.
