We will to set up an intake interview, which is either a 30-minute video call or a house visit (depending on where you live).

This is to get to know you (and your family) and extensively inform you about the next steps in the adoption process.

It is also a great opportunity for you to ask us any and all questions you have!

Usually, an intake can be scheduled within 3 days.

Successfull intake?

Let's sign an adoption contract!! 

Within one of signing the contract, we ask you to transfer a deposit to Animal SOS Sri Lanka. 

This deposit will be deducted from the adoption fee later on. The complete adoption fee would need to be paid a week before your new pet flies over.

The adoption fee depends on where the dog arrives. Our fee is low and is kept at cost price; this means that we gain no profits from it. We will explain the cost breakdown to you in the intake interview.

Packing and  prepping!

After contracts have been signed, we will prepare your beloved future pet for his/her trip.

This takes about 3 months. 

During this time, we will keep you updated about your new pet, through pictures and videos. 

We also promise to tell them about their amazing new family and the love that awaits them.

This is as simple as it gets: meet your new love!

We will be there for you even after pick up. We will call you a week after adoption day to check how everyone is doing. 

If you have questions after adoption, do feel free to contact us anytime.

If youd' like to withdraw from adoption or return your pet, please contact us. We will help you re-home your pet.
